Remember D-Day

Remember June 6th 1944, the day the Crusade in Europe really started.  Millions of people were liberated and returned to normal prosperous lives.  But it had to start on the beaches of Normandy.
This is a picture of my Uncle Bill, who jumped into Normandy and entertained us a children with the stories. Notice the trusty M1 rifle, "The Greatest Battle Implement Ever Devised".
